IIFT Examination Guide: IIFT Exam Cut-Offs
The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) each year declares the minimum cutoff marks to which a student has to attain to qualify for the second round of selection i.e. the round involving Essay Writing (EW) Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) round. The section-wise IIFT cut-offs, campus-wise cut-offs, previous year’s cut-offs along with IIFT admission procedure is detailed herein below:
IIFT 2020 Cut Offs: Key Points
- The cut-offs marks for the second round of selection are different for each of the three campuses – Delhi, Kolkata and Kakinada
- The cut off marks for the 2020 exam will be declared after the exam
- Candidates who pass and get the (sectional and overall) cut off marks shall be shortlisted for the second round of IIFT admission process

IIFT STUDENT INTAKE: CAMPUS WISE
For the shortlisting of candidates for the admission process, the number of candidates screened for the personal interview round is more than five times the total number of seats available at all the three campuses. The table given below highlights the number of candidates screened vs number of seats available for the 2019 batch:

IIFT Admission and Selection Procedure
After announcing the results of the IIFT 2020 exam, the institute will select candidates for the second round of admission process. IIFT admission and selection procedure includes:
- Screening of candidates on the basis of their IIFT score
- Group Discussion, Essay Writing and Personal Interview
- Final selection of the candidates for admission
The Group Discussion, Writing Skills Assessment and Personal Interview round will be conducted in January / February 2020 at Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Lucknow. Candidates will be communicated via email the schedule for this round.
IIFT 2020 Result:
The result for the IIFT 2020 exam will be announced in online mode by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on 13th December 2019. Along with the result the NTA will release the final answer key. The candidates can download the IIFT result scorecard and can get all information related to marks.

Q: I belong to SC category. What will be the admission cut-off for me?
A: The admission cut-offs for each different category will be declared at the time of admission only.
