Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Rohtak is one among the chain of management institutes which is ranked 23rd by National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) for the year 2019. This IIM was established in the year 2010 as part of the 11th five-year plan. Courses offered in the area of management are – graduate, fellowships and executive programmes. There are 6 departments in the institute, and they are:

IIM Rohtak Admission Process

Candidates looking for admissions to the PGP programme should have an undergraduate degree with a minimum of 50% marks and submission of the CAT admission exam test score is mandatory. Once the cut off list is published, eligible applicants are invited to appear for the interview and written test. 35% weightage is given to academic performance, work experience and diversity of the applicants. CAT score is also a must for the DPM programme.
For entry into the IPM programme the first step is to clear the entrance exam and final selection is based on the performance in the written ability test, personal interview and past academic performance.

EPGPx applicants need either a CAT or GMAT or GRE or GATE score and the final selection is done on the basis of personal interview. A minimum of 5 years of managerial experience is also necessary. For EFPM applicants, an entrance exam score and interview is conducted. These above-mentioned admission criteria are relaxed provided the applicant has completed their undergraduate from IIM.

IIM Rohtak has an outstanding placement and salary track record. For the 2017 – 2019 batch, the highest package offered was Rs 24.13 LPA. The institute placement cell has helped students get placed in Yes Bank, Accenture, Amul, EY, Muthoot Fincorp, Denave, Capgemini, Infosys, Cognizant, Indiamart, etc. Of the students placed, 23% of the students got placed in the IT sector and 30% in the consulting sector.
