Course Structure of PGPMX Course at IIM Indore
Academic knowledge is imparted through 2 types of course modules:
Core Courses
Core Courses are offered in 1st year (Term 1 to Term 3) and compulsory for all the students. They provide the students the basic conceptual knowledge, analytical skills, circumstantial understanding, and overall outlook, which work as the base for the PGPMX course.

Elective courses
The elective course modules are offered in the 2nd year (from term 4 to term 6) and provide the students an extensive understanding of the various functional areas and empower them to specialize in the field of their interest.

International Immersion Program:
The International Immersion Program (IIP), the necessary and mandatory module of the 2nd year of the PGPMX program. The students undergo this 5 day module at an International partnered Institute or university. The aim of this IIP module is to provide the exposure to the students about the top business practices around the world.
Important Note: No additional program fee will be charged. However, cost of travel, accommodation, and meals, etc. have to be borne by participants.

Online Preparatory Courses (Bridge courses):
As soon as candidates accept the admission offer and pay their commitment fee, they will be given the access of the online bridge or preparatory course modules. And on the successful completion of these modules, students will earn the credits.

Capstone Course Module
The focus of this module is to help the candidates absorb what they have learned throughout the 2 years. This module provides the candidates an opportunity to impart the knowledge and skills gained in the program to real-life circumstances.

Case Writing
As a part of the important pedagogical tool, this method is used by faculties in course delivery. With the help of the method, the students are exposed to live circumstances of decision-making uncertainties in business. Via active & inclusive classroom interaction, the faculty helps the students with the possible solutions and framework, by applying the related theories.
