Candidates can apply on a provisional basis after the completion of degree requirements and while expecting results and those who are appearing for their final year bachelor’s degree or any other equivalent examination of qualification can also apply.
International Students’ Eligibility
Candidates residing in neighboring countries from where there is no restrictions to enter India and overseas candidates who are either expected to be in India when the CAT exam is held will not be eligible for applying under the overseas category.
However, if applying under Overseas Category, the candidate should have a decent Graduate Management Aptitude Test (GMAT) score.
Other eligibility criteria
- Candidates must entertain the minimum sectional percentile and overall percentile scores in CAT
- General candidates must have secured minimum 85 percentile in Section 1 (VARC) and 80 percentile in Section 2 (DILR) & Section 3 (QA) of CAT examination
- SC candidate must have secured minimum 70 percentile in Section 1 (VARC) and 65 percentile in Section 2 (DILR) & Section 3 (QA) of CAT examination
- ST and PWD candidate must have secured minimum 60 percentile in all the three sub-section in the CAT examination
- NC-OBC candidate must have secured minimum 75 percentile in Section 1 (VARC) and 70 percentile in Section 2 (DILR) & Section 3 (QA) of CAT examination
