Admission Open for One Year MBA (PGDM Executive) At IMT Ghaziabad

Admission is open for PGDM (Executive), a full-time AICTE approved and AACSB accredited 15-month program at IMT Ghaziabad with the last date for submission of online application on June 30, 2019. 

The program is scheduled to commence in October and conclude in December 2020. It is aimed at grooming experienced executives for a general management role in the functional domain with a global orientation and service focus.

• Contemporary course curriculum in six phases of Foundation, Functional, Internationalization, Customization, Integration and Dissertation
• Customization in areas of Marketing Analytics, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Information Management and Human Resources.
• The program provides participants with the opportunity of a social immersion as a part of the sustainability and social responsibility course
• Self-learning Harvard Online Modules, with a certificate of completion. It also has a strong industry and alumni interface

Program Details

The program includes a 4-6-week Global Career Accelerator (GCA), with specific customization focus, at one of IMT’s European partners. The program is designed in a modular format, namely, foundation, functional, internationalization, customization, integration and dissertation.

It blends in components of knowledge, skills, and attitude with cutting edge courses like Design Thinking, Cross-Cultural Business Negotiations, Data Modelling, Execution, Critical Thinking, to name a few.

In the fourth term, participants will be offered customized electives in one of these areas, namely, Marketing; Information Management & Analytics; Operations and Supply Chain Management; Human Resources.

During the course of the program, specific workshops are held with the objective of skill building, like six sigma and project management, in line with the career objective of the participants. They are also exposed to personal growth lab and an assessment centre that is targeted towards understanding self and ensures a better self-appreciation in the areas of strength and development.

IMT projects PGDM (Executive) as a unique course on contemporary issues in management offered by leading industry practitioners allowing participants an opportunity to debate and discuss the current issues and challenges in the global business scenario.

Knowing by Doing & Experiential Learning are the guiding principles of pedagogy for all IMT Executive Programs. The learning and pedagogy experience in the PGDM (Executive) course encompasses a broad range of learning techniques including case studies, simulations; real-life projects; debates; discussions with senior executives of organizations, start-ups and consulting projects; courses and workshops.

Eligibility

You should be a graduate in any discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and around five years’ work experience after graduation as on September 30, 2019. Test Score(s) Considered: CAT 2015 – 2018 / XAT 2016 – 2019 Or GMAT taken after September 1, 2014.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates in the final selection process will undergo a test on Leadership Potential (LP) and personal interview (PI). LP comprises a written test for a 30-minute duration. The objective of the test is to determine the leadership qualities and potential for future leadership in the candidates.

The leadership potential qualities will be evaluated on the following parameters: Communication skills; Innovation and Creativity; Delegation; Decision-making skills; Collaboration. Candidates will be given a topic/case study in which they need to pen down their ideas, thoughts and mechanisms/methods of leadership skills in around 400-500 words.

The Personal Interview will be approximately 20-25 minutes, during which the candidate will be evaluated on four parameters, namely, Academic Orientation (AO), Communication & Interpersonal Skills (CIS), Quality of Work Experience and Analytical/Problem solving skills (AS).

Fees and Other Expenses

The admission fee is Rs 10,000. On receiving the admission offer, the candidate will have to pay a registration fee of Rs 40,000. The total fee for the program is Rs 15,00,000. The cost of Tuition and Travel to the International University for International Immersion is included in the Program.
