Admission is open for the one-year full-time MBA at HEC Montreal for the program beginning in September with the next application deadline on January 15, 2020.
The MBA program lays stress on being a practice-oriented program providing numerous opportunities for the students to have interactions with organizations. A business consultation project is the highlight of the program that enables students to propose solutions to a real mandate while gaining valuable management experience.

With the round 1 application deadline already over on November 15, 2019, round 2 applicants should submit the forms by January 15. The selection committee will decide on the applications in this round by February 15. The deadline for accepting the admission offer will be March 15.
The round 3 application deadline is March 15 with the decision on April 15 and the admission offer to be accepted by May 15. International candidates should apply by this round so that the immigration procedures could be completed on time.
The round 4 application deadline is May 15 with the decision on June 15 and the admission offer to be accepted by July 1.
You should possess an undergraduate degree and have at least 2 years’ full-time professional experience at the start of the program (not including internships).
The scores of GMAT (competitive score: 630 or higher, suggested minimum: 570), GRE (score equivalent to that of the GMAT) or TAGE MAGE (competitive score: 300 or higher, suggested minimum score: 250) are to be presented.
In language requirements, proof of advanced intermediate proficiency in English is to be submitted.
After completing and submitting the application form, you will receive an e-mail with your HEC Montréal student number within three days, allowing you to access your HEC en ligne account. This may take longer in some cases, depending on statutory holidays.
You have five working days after receiving this e-mail to submit your supporting documents via HEC en ligne, in unprotected PDF format, by clicking on the “Upload Documents” button at the top right corner of the screen. If you are experiencing difficulties, you should consult the Zone Info online.
The following documents should be submitted. These are the copies of official transcripts and of diplomas (not required for courses done at HEC Montreal), Proof of compliance with language requirements, Collegial studies (CEGEP).
Other studies or test, copies of official transcripts or test scores are to be submitted. The official scores on tests taken outside of HEC Montréal must be transmitted directly by the organization responsible.
You should provide your resume. All applicants have to answer the question: In which direction do you wish to take your career by pursuing an MBA at HEC Montréal? (500 words maximum).
If you have previously applied for admission, you must also answer the following question: How has your situation changed since you applied last time? Make sure you explain any change in your work experience, studies and volunteering (250 words maximum).
Within one week of submitting your application, you will receive a link to a web-based video interview platform. Using this platform, you will spontaneously answer four pre-recorded questions, the answers to which will allow the school to get to know you better. You will have up to seven days to complete this video interview.
Two letters of recommendation, of which at least one should come from an employer are to be submitted along with GMAT, TAGE MAGE or GRE official scores and four video essays.
For students from Quebec, the fee is $8400, for Canadian students, non-residents of Québec $18100, French and French Belgian students $8400 and for International students $49 000 from fall 2020, The fees, including tuition and other incidental fees are approximate and subject to change without notice.
