Admissions are open for the full-time 1-year MBA program at Vlerick with the deadline for non-European citizens on June 30 and for Europeans on August 30. The triple-accredited program is based in Brussels, a thriving hub of international trade, commerce and Government.
Vlerick claims to ranked number 1 in Highest salary increase for MBAs in Europe, 6th ranked in Value for money based on the salary earned, 9th in programs with a focus on entrepreneurship and 15th in European Business School ranking.
Apart from classroom learning, the program has hands-on workshops, company projects, boot camps and international study trips to help participants become strategic thinkers and business-ready professional.

The program begins in September and for the next four months till December, you, as a participant, will be able to learn the fundamentals of business management, take up optional language courses, introductory courses to Statistics and Business Economics and Understanding the organisation.
You will need a degree from an accredited university with at least three years’ full-time work experience. Candidates will be required to pass an admissions test – either the Vlerick Business School Admissions Test, GMAT or GRE.
The core courses include Accounting, Financial Management, International Business, Marketing, HR, and others. You will also be able to boost your management skills with cutting-edge business simulations.
January to April is dedicated to becoming a better leader with Advanced management courses including Entrepreneurship, Leadership, Negotiation Skills and Innovation Management. You will also be able to take up your choice of local or international elective modules. Students would also participate in Bootcamps that are updated every year.
Over a 3-week period, you will attend advanced classes, take part in in-depth exercises and apply your knowledge to real-life challenges. Students could choose advanced modules in either FinTech, Energy, Healthcare, Strategy Consulting, Retail & FMCG. Students will take up in-depth exercises and real-life company challenges.
You would undertake international study trips, an integral part of the program trips to both the US and China or South Africa. Students spend time in the USA for the Innovation & Entrepreneurship course. You will also be participating in international seminars, corporate lectures, company and cultural visits.
The next session, May-August, will be dedicated to expanding your horizons by applying your knowledge and insights in diverse real-life settings. You will have the opportunity to participate in an 8-week Consultancy project to utilise your learning to turn strategic ideas into practical initiatives.
The 4-week Global social project involves a consultancy project with an NGO or social enterprise. The Entrepreneurship in action project would enable you to connect with a new start-up or develop a business plan for your own post-MBA venture. The program will be completed with Corporate strategy and an interactive IMEx business game.
Career Development and Networking opportunities would be available throughout the program by way of professional assessment, career coaching, networking events, personalised development platform, mentorship programs and opportunities to meet recruiters.

English Language Proficiency Exam is to be taken except for native English speakers or for those who had studied the undergraduate degree in the English language. Candidates will also have to clear an admissions interview.

English Proficiency Exam score (if applicable), Contact details of your referees. The application fee is €50 to be remitted along with the application.
The Tuition fee is pegged at €38,000. It includes full tuition, textbooks and the study trip program. The average living expenses in Brussels would be about €900 – €1,100. The fees could also be paid in three instalments on November 30, February 28 and April 30. If you choose this option, you need to sign a contract and pay a €250 admin fee.
