Cambridge MBA Class of 2014-15 Begin Programme
0Cambridge Judge Business School recently welcomed the new Cambridge MBA class of 2014-15 on campus. This year’s cohort numbers 145 students, drawn from a diverse range of 39 nationalities.
The B-School has announced that women constitute over 30 per cent of the class this year – an increase on last’s year cohort and a step forward in its aim for future gender balance.
Asset management, engineering and oil and gas represent strong sectors from which the class have been recruited. The students this year bring an exciting mix of supplementary talents to the school including classical music training, the launching of NGOs and human rights activism.
Students started their journey with a two-week ‘Orientation’ period which inducts new MBAs into their class, the School and the University, and provides students an opportunity to undertake intensive networking practice and forge friendships before beginning core learning.
As per a note from Cambridge, the students also attended networking mixers with the new Cambridge Master of Finance class – these social engagements help MBA students mix with students from other programmes as well as the wider university, creating foundations for future collaboration that represents the ethos of the business school.
