The MBA, for long, has been considered to be a pathway to a boardroom career with B-schools focussing on developing the students’ general management abilities. However, the demands of an increasingly technology-driven markets and workplaces have led to the demand for specialised programs.
Thus, it is not surprising to find MBA programs in Sports Management, Leisure & Tourism Management and Design Management to name a few. For instance, the EU Business School offers as many as 11 specialised programs.
Sports Management speciality is offered in a 2-year full-time MBA format at San Diego University’s Graduate School of Business. The AASCB accredited program with an average GMAT score of 592 has a tuition fee of $40,000-$50,000.

MBA in Hospitality and Tourism Management is offered at the Ostelea School of Tourism and Hospitality International. The tuition fee is Euro 18,667. The program that runs for three terms offers credits of 68 CH/90 ECTS in campuses located in Barcelona, Geneva and Montreux.
