How to Reschedule Your GRE Test
Rescheduling Fee
In case you want to reschedule your GRE Test due to some unforeseen circumstances or reason, you could do it four days before the test date without forfeiting the test fee. The fee to reschedule your test registration is US$50.
Rescheduling is allowed in the same testing year (July 1–June 30). The testing fees and registrations are not exchangeable between the GRE Subject Tests and General Test.
The test registration can be rescheduled either online through your ETS Account or by contacting GRE Services by phone, fax or mail. If you are sending the request by mail or fax, be sure to include your name, date of birth, address, registration number, test date, preferred test center and new test date along with the rescheduling fee.
Requests sent by mail must be received no later than four full days (not including the day of your test or the day of your request) prior to the scheduled test date.
Changing Your Subject Test
You can change your Subject Test by the regular registration deadline. The fee to change the Subject Test is US$50. However, Subject test changes cannot be guaranteed but will be made as space permits.
You can change your Subject Test either online through your ETS Account or by contacting GRE Services by the regular registration deadline. While calling GRE Services, you will be asked to provide your name, date of birth, address, registration number and test date.
Changing Your Test Center
The fee to change your test center is US$50. Test center changes cannot be guaranteed but will be made as space permits. You can also report to the preferred test center on the test day with your confirmation email. If the center can accommodate you and the test you need is available, there will be no additional charge.

Canceling Your Test Registration
You should cancel your test registration no later than four full days before the test date or the fee will be forfeited. If you cancel your test no later than four full days prior to your test date, you will receive a refund equivalent to half of the original test fee.
