Great Lakes has received the prestigious AMBA (Association of MBAs), UK accreditation for its flagship one year fast track MBA program – PGPM and SAQS (South Asian Quality Assurance System)
Great Lakes programs are consistently ranked among the top 5 Management programs in the country. The PGPM is ranked 3rd by Outlook (2018) and 4th by Business world (2017).
As per Great Lakes, full-time Post Graduate Program in Management (PGPM) is uniquely designed to deliver customer-centricity, meritocracy and corporate ethics in one year. It facilitates students’ understanding of the interaction between the various functional areas of a business system and offers specializations in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Strategy, IT/Operations & Analytics thereby appreciating the need for developing cross-functional perspectives in business. The program has been designed by the Academic Advisory Council, which comprises the best in the world of management academia. This, in turn, has been streamlined with inputs from the Institute’s illustrious Business Advisory Council, to keep it in sync with the needs of an ever-changing marketplace. The program is designed to make the students business-ready and capable of responding to complex business requirements that arise in a changing global business environment. Throughout the course of study, the emphasis is on skill development, team-work inclusivity principles and value-based management hence creating “Business Ready Managers.
Program Highlights
As per the B-School, eligibility criteria and other requirements are as follows:
Valid CAT* / GMAT / XAT+ / CMAT score
For PGPM 2021, Great Lakes Institute of Management will accept scores of GMAT taken after 1st January 2017, CAT taken in 2018/2019, XAT taken in 2019/2020 or CMAT taken in 2019
A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized institution
A minimum work experience of two years by March 31, 2020
Candidates with less than 24 months of work experience by March 31, 2020 can apply to the Great Lakes PGDM Program
*Great Lakes uses CAT scores only for screening applications for admissions and IIMs have no role in the conduct of Great Lakes academic programs
+Great Lakes is not an associate institute of XLRI and uses XAT scores only for screening applicants for admission. XLRI has no role to play in the conduct of any of Great Lakes programs.

They receive large number of applications from promising candidates every year and while selecting the candidates, it is important for us to understand how you will add value to the class and enrich the experience of your peers.

As per the B-School, the campus placement process for the PGPM Class of 2019, witnessed an excellent season with over 97% of the students already placed as on 9 Jan 2018. The placement season saw participation from major recruiters like Accenture, Aditya Birla Capital, ADP, Amazon, Barclays, Cognizant, Capgemini, Deloitte, EY, Gartner, HCL, Honeywell, HSBC, Infosys, ITC Infotech, L&T Infotech, Mentis, MuSigma, TCS, Virtusa, ZS Associates to name a few. The average CTC of the batch stood at 13.1 Lakhs p.a. and the highest domestic CTC offered was 29 Lakhs p.a. offered by a multinational consulting firm. The process is set to wrap up on a high with the remaining students awaiting to interview with top companies over the next few weeks.
Students were offered various coveted roles in Analytics, BFSI, IT/ITES, Consulting, E-commerce, Technology Consulting, FMCG and Product. IT/ITES (37%) was the largest recruiting sector followed by Tech Consulting (23%), Business Consulting (22%) and BFSI (5%). In terms of the functional areas, Technology Consulting (33%) attracted the largest set of offers followed by Analytics (15%) and Sales & Marketing (14%).

Eligibility Criteria
• All applicants are required to appear for GMAT/ CAT/ XAT/ CMAT before applying.
• GMAT scores taken in and after Jan-2013, CAT scores of the year 2014/ 2015, XAT scores of the year 2015/ 2016 or CMAT Scores of the year 2015/ 2016 will be considered for PGPM 2016-17 admissions.
• Candidates should have bachelor’s degree from a recognized university or institute.
• Candidates should have minimum full time work experience of 2 years by 31st March, 2016.
