In what ought to be good news for those planning to join MBA courses in Australia, there has been only marginal increase in average fees for 2016.
Having recorded a hike of more than 8% (from $40,671 in 2014 to $44,200 in 2015), the average MBA for full fee paying domestic students increased only marginally to $44,866 in 2016.
Melbourne Business School, which increased its fees to $81,400 from $79,000 in 2015, retaines the top position offering the country’s most expensive MBA. On the second spot is The University of New South Wales (Australian Graduate School of Management) at $77,760 and Macquarie University’s Macquarie Graduate School of Management on the third at $76,000, says MBA News.

New entrant Ducere (University of Canberra) has a course fee of $30,000 while Torrens University (Chiefley Business School) in its debut MBA course is charging $ 27,000 (12 courses at $2,250 per course).
Incidentally, Torrens is the third cheapest by way of fees being charged for MBA courses. The Australian Institute of Business continues to be the cheapest at $21,780. On the second spot is Edith Cowan University at $26,550.
