The 4th Digital Summit 2017 organised by the 1-year fulltime Executive Post Graduate Programme (EPGP) students will be held at IIM Bangalore on October 15.
The Summit is aimed at CxOs, Digital Thought Leaders, Digital Marketing Managers and Directors and Strategists, Technology Evangelists, Digital Project Managers, Small Business Owners and Managers, Entrepreneurs and digital start-ups.
The Summit, with “Future Unlocked” as the theme, will explore multiple aspects of digitization that are relevant in the present-day context as well as having a big impact in the future, IIMB said in a release.
The summit aims to provide MBA students and practitioners with the opportunity to interact with the best minds in industry and academia. The discussions would cover trends and opportunities in the digital world.
There will be panel discussions and speaker sessions around ‘Mixed Reality – Creating an immersive consumer experience’; Non-intrusive Marketing; Understanding Platform business models –new paradigm in strategy; Digital Inclusion – An Indian Perspective.
The speakers include Suraj Nambiar, General Manager, Digital at Maxus, Anil V Pillai, Director at Terragni Consulting (P) Ltd, Avnish Sabharwal, Managing Director at Accenture Ventures and Open innovation, Priya Karnik, Vice President Business at Paytm, Sreekant Lanka, Head of Programmatic Account Strategy, Google India and Jayesh Ghatge, Market Partner-India, Thoughtworks.

The Summit, in collaboration with IIMB-NSRCEL, will also present the Case Challenge – a chance for entrepreneurs as well as professionals in established firms an opportunity to innovate and introduce disruptive technologies.
The goal of this challenge is to identify a real business problem either in a start-up or in an established firm and come up with recommendations to solve it.
The prizes include a chance to collaborate with a faculty member to have your paper published, the release added.
