The Alliance Manchester Business School offers a full-time MBA giving the students the flexibility to complete the program in 12, 15 or 18 months.
The core courses are common to all the three streams. The program starts in September and the Core Courses comprise Leading and Managing in a Global Environment; Business Accounting and Finance; Strategy and Competition; Operations and Marketing; Skills for Leaders; Guest Speaker Series.
Along with the core courses, students will complete a Not-for-Profit Project and 1 elective (for 12/15 month cohort) from September to December.
January to March, along with the core course, they will participate in a Mergers & Acquisitions project. April to June will see the students get involved in a commercial business project along with the core courses.
July to August, those who chose the 12-months option would complete an International Business Project and an elective or business simulation project before concluding the program in September.
Those who had opted for the 15-month program will choose between an internship or 2 electives or elective plus Business

Simulation in July-August and then complete the program with an International Business project in September-December.
The 18-month cohort will have to choose between an internship or 2 electives or elective plus Business Simulation in July-August.
Then from September to December, they will choose between one elective plus study tour or two electives or International Exchange. From January to April, they will conclude the program with an International Business Project.
All three cohorts would also participate in MBA+ that involves a suite of non-credit-bearing, extracurricular experiences including personalised career support, business clubs and competitions, social events and alumni services.

You must have an undergraduate degree or international equivalent, satisfactory GMAT/GRE or MAT score. You should possess a minimum of three years’ post-graduation work experience with strong, consistent career progression and achievement.
Along with professional skills and competencies, international exposure and entrepreneurial experience are valued. You should be a strong team player with excellent communication skills along with emotional intelligence and personal qualities.
You should also submit proof of English language competency if you are not from English speaking countries.
Tuition fees for the 2018 Full-time MBA are £43,000. The fees are the same whether you complete the Full-time MBA in 18, 15 or 12 months.
Fees cover the total tuition cost and include stage one core course textbooks. Living expenses are additional. Estimated living expenses for a single student (including accommodation) are £1,100 per month.
Alliance Manchester offers a range of scholarships for bright students. All self-financing applicants are automatically considered for a scholarship. A number of additional scholarships are also offered that require a separate scholarship application.
All graduates of the University of Manchester or UMIST receive a loyalty bursary. This is a 20% discount on the tuition fees that they are personally funding.
In terms of career outcome, 98% average salary increase was reported three years after graduating according to Financial Times Global MBA Ranking 2018 figures.
The graduates also received £123,484 average weighted salary during this period.
Of the Class of 2017, 75% accepted an MBA level offer of employment within three months of graduating. While 45% of the graduates remained in the UK, 24% were working in the technology industry. More than 30% of the graduates secured positions in financial services or consulting.
