The final placement session at FMS, University of Delhi ended on a high note with 100% student placement. While the average salary package for this year increased to 23.20 LPA from 21.1 LPA (last year), the highest package dropped to 48 LPA from 54 LPA. Out of 216 students, 198 students participated in the placement process and the remaining 18 did not participate in the placement process. One major feature of the FMS placement 2019 was the sharp rise in the average salary for women as it went up at 25.10 LPA from 22.6 LPA last year.
The placement process of this college is divided into two segments- Lateral and the Final Placement processes. Students with more than 18 months of work experience took part in the Lateral Placement Process conducted in December 2018. The Final Placement Process was held in January 2019 for the rest of the students. Top recruiters included Tata Sky, Accenture Strategy, Amway, Asian Paints, BMW, American Express, OYO, Airtel, Accenture Strategy, Axis Bank, Infoedge, Paytm, Tech Mahindra etc.
