About MDI Gurgaon

 

Established in the year 1973 & located in Gurgaon, Management Development Institute (MDI) is one of India’s premier management Institute. The MDI Gurgaon was founded by Industrial Finance Corporation of India. The Institute also has a campus at Murshidabad, West Bengal.

In year 2005, MDI became the first Indian management institute to receive international accreditation by AMBA (The Association of MBAs). MDI Gurgaon also among the handful of management institute, who holds the accreditation of the highly desired ‘SAQS’ (South Asian Quality Standards). The Institute offers the wide range of Post Graduate, Executive Post Graduate, Fellowship and Management Development Programs. 

MDI, Gurgaon – 2020 Admission Process

Aspirants can apply online for admission at MDI through the website of the institute. 

  • Aspirants will be needed to fill the online application form, along with INR 2000/- as an application processing fee
  • Applicants are shortlisted on the basis of their CAT score and the information provided by them in the application form
  • In case of NRI/ Foreign/ PIO applicants, who don’t have CAT score, their application will be considered on the basis of GMAT score
  • Short-listed applicants will invited for Group Discussion & Personal Interview and the final selected applicants will be granted the provisional admission

Note: In addition to valid GMAT/ CAT score, applicants must have scored 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in both 10th and 12th exams respectively and 3 years Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA

MDI Gurgaon has an outstanding placement history. Salary packages are going up consistently with every placement season. The class of 2017-19, saw a rise of 5% in average salary package. All the 342 candidates (100% participants) secured the satisfactory job during the placement process. To recruits the candidates, a total of 106 companies visited the MDI. The highest package secured was of INR 40 Lakhs/ annum and the average package secured by the candidates was of INR 20 40 Lakhs/ annum.

Scholarships at MDI, Gurgaon

MDI, Gurgaon provides various scholarships to deserving & meritorious students.

  • For the 2nd year students of MDI Gurgaon, the P. Jindal scholarship worth INR 1.5 Lakh is available on the merit-cum-need basis
  • At the end of the 2nd year, MDI Gurgaon awards 5 merit scholarships of INR 10, 000/- each to the top five students.

Those students going abroad under an exchange program are eligible for the below-mentioned scholarships:

  • DAAD Scholarship for the candidates going to study in Germany
  • Scholarships provided by the French Embassy in India
