Founded in 1996, IIM Indore was the 6th addition to the IIMs family. In year 2019, IIM Indore was ranked 10th best B-school in India. Aspirants from various educational backgrounds aspire to take admission to this B-school for its full-time MBA (PGP), Executive MBA (EPGP), PGP-HRM, IPM, IPBA courses at Post Graduate level. In addition to the PG level courses, IIM Indore also offers 2 doctorate level programs including FPM and E-FPM. IIM Indore also has a campus in Mumbai. Admission Process 2020
Admission process at IIM Indore takes place via online application mode. Aspirants seeking admission to the flagship program MBA (PGP) must have a valid CAT exam score. For other programs, admission is offered on the basis of a valid qualifying entrance examination followed by the selection process.
Program-wise admission details are mentioned below:
- For admission to PGP (MBA) and PGP-HRM (MBA-HRM) courses, applicants are short-listed based on CAT score cutoff released by IIM Indore. Shortlisted applicants have to undergo a WAT (Written Ability Test) and PI (Personal Interview) rounds for final selection
- Admission to EPGP course is offered on the basis of a valid GMAT score and having an minimum experience of 5 years or more
- IIM Indore conducts IPMAT exam test for short-listing the aspirants for IPM program. Final selection of the short-listed candidates is based on WAT and PI rounds
- Admission to FPM program is offered on the basis of overall performance of applicants in Research Aptitude Test (RAT) followed by PI round

PGP & PGPHRM Selection Process
For the admission to PGP and PGP-HRM programs, IIM Indore follows a 3 stage selection process. All the 3-stages of selection process are mentioned below:
Stage 1: Eligibility criteria
All the aspirants who apply for 2 year PGP or PGP-HRM program must meet the minimum CAT cutoff (sectional percentile and overall) as mentioned in the table below:

Only those candidates who meet the above-required cutoff eligibility criteria will be considered for the next stage of selection.
Stage 2: Short-listing of the applicants for the WAT and PI rounds
Those applicants who meet the eligibility criteria mentioned in the 1st-stage will be considered for this short-listing process. Based on the multiple parameters like CAT Exam score, Educational Performance in class 10th & 12th and diversity, a ‘Composite Score’ is prepared, on the basis of which candidates will be selected for WAT and PI rounds. Short-listed applicants at this stage must appear for WAT and PI rounds, failing which their application will be rejected. Also, applicants must perform consistently across all the various parameters of the PI round. Those not achieving the minimum required performance criteria will not be considered for the next stage.
Stage 3: Final merit list of WAT and PI rounds
Aspirants meeting the requirements mentioned in the 2nd stage after appearing for WAT & PI rounds will be given a Final Composite Score. Refer to the below-mentioned for the basis of composite sores with respect to the components:

Based on the final composite scores, merit list will be released and selected applicants will be offered the admission.
Admission 2020: EPGP, GMPE
IIM Indore also offers one year EPGP and GMPE courses for working professionals. To seek the admission in to EPGP program, aspirants must have a valid GMAT score. Shortlisted applicants will be needed to appear for Personal Interview. For final selection in EPGP, 50-50% weight-age is given to GMAT & PI scores respectively. Selected candidates will be required to submit a non-refundable commitment fee of INR 1 Lakh at the time of accepting the offer of admission. Aspirants seeking admissions to GMPE program are required to submit a ‘Statement of Purpose’ with their application.

Admission 2020: IPM, IPBA
Apart from postgraduate programs, the institute also offers a 5-year Integrated Program in Management (IPM). Institute also offers an Integrated Program in Business Analytics (IPBA) which is a 120-hour training program for professionals who are looking for a career in data science with the context in business management.
- For Admission into IPM Program, an entrance exam (IPMAT) is conducted to judge applicant’s logical reasoning ability, aptitude, and proficiency in English & Mathematics
- For IPM admission, short-listed applicants must attain WAT & PI rounds, wherein they will be evaluated based on their general awareness & knowledge, communication skills, persuasion skills, and confidence.
- For IPBA Admission, the selection is on the basis of performance in the qualifying score of CAT/GMAT/GRE exams followed by a telephonic interview round

IIM Indore follows the online application process. Aspirants looking to enroll for PGP and PGPHRM programs must apply through CAT. For the remaining programs, aspirants can apply directly through official website of IIM Indore.
Steps to apply for PGP/ PGPHRM program:
- Aspirants must open the official website of CAT (iimcat.ac.in)
- Register online for CAT exam before the last date
- While registering for CAT exam, applicants can apply to PGP program of IIM Indore by opting the same from the options available in the registration form
- Submit the registration form along with the payment of INR 1,900 as the CAT application fee
