Earlier known as the Indian Institute of Modern Management (IIMM), Balaji Institute of Modern Management (BIMM), Pune is a private B-School and an integral part of Sri Balaji University. BIMM has affiliated to AICTE as well as the Ministry of Human Resource Development. Started in 1999 by Dr. A Balasubramanian, BIMM is one of the renowned B-Schools around the country.

MBA programs are offered by the Balaji Institue of Modern Management in a spectrum of specializations options including MBA in HR Development & Personnel management and MBA in IT & Marketing etc.. BIMM is also offering Executive MBA course for the experienced working professionals. Due to the excellent overall process of education and top-notch placement support for the students, the B-School is getting good name and fame and it improves year by year in the form of rankings. In the TOI B-School survey, the B-School was ranked among the top 11 B-Schools around the country.

Students looking for admission at BIIM Pune need to fill the application form by providing the required information. There are two options for filling these forms i.e. online or offline. The application fee is INR 1,500. After the successful application of the fee and submitting the application, the applicant will receive a registration number. Then the candidate requires to appear in group discussion as well as Personal Interview along with essay writing test.

The GD includes Case Studies, Extempore speech, and role-play. The total duration of this test 30 to 45 minutes. The GD carries a weightage of 35%. Essay writing and personal interview carry about 30% of weightage. In these tests, the skills of the candidate are evaluated on different aspects like how much suitable the candidate is for the preferred specialization.

BIMM Admission Process:

Students interested in BIMM MBA courses can fill the admission form. The available application modes are online as well as offline modes. The application form can be filled with the required information and to be submitted to the B-School online or offline along with INR 1500/- which is the application fee at BIMM, Pune.

Once application get submitted successfully, the registration number will be provided by the B-School.  For sorting of students, the B-School conducts GD, PI and essay writing tests.

The students with CAT/ CMAT/ MAH-CET/ XAT exam scores can participate in the admission process.

The interested students will be checked against different parameters, mainly if the students are suitable for the specialization selected specialization or not.

MBA (Master of Business Administration)

MBA from BIMM, is a two-year full-time classroom mode program. The total fee for this program is INR 8.45 Lakhs. This course has been ranked #11 in the Times Ranking 2020. After successful completion of this program, the PG Degree is awarded by the B-School.

MBA in IT and Marketing

MBA in IT and Marketing from BIMM, is a two-year full-time classroom mode program. The total fee for this program is INR 8.45 Lakhs. After successful completion of this program, the PG Degree is awarded by the B-School.

MBA in Personnel Management and Human Resource Development

MBA in Personnel Management and Human Resource Development from BIMM, is a two-year full-time classroom mode program. The total fee for this program is INR 8.45 Lakhs. After successful completion of this program, the PG Degree is awarded by the B-School.

Executive MBA

Executive MBA from BIMM, is a two-year full-time classroom mode program specially designed for the working professionals. This program has been ranked #47 by the Business Today B-School rankings in 2017. The total fee for this program is INR 8.45 Lakhs. Internships: 

BIMM offers there students with practical oriented internship program called Project studies of a company (CPS- Company Project Studies). The students will be working as interns in one of the top organizations around the country. If a student performs exceptionally well as an intern, he/she may get an offer of pre-placement from the company they are working with. The duration of this project is two months. The students selected marketing as their specialization will be required to do a rural project study once the campus placement process completes.
