Being a part of the IIM family, IIMU has consistently made efforts to become a top choice for aspirants looking for a career in the field of Management and Entrepreneurship. For this purpose, institute has launched an incubation centre that offers the much-needed ecosystem to future entrepreneurs. In year Year 2019, NIRF ranked IIM Udaipur at 13th place in the management category, which offers post graduate and doctoral level courses in the field of Management. To meet with the growing demand for management courses, IIM Udaipur is also increasing the seat intake for the upcoming batch.
Admission Process 2020
Admission to IIM Udaipur 2 year flagship MBA course is based on a valid CAT score. Those short-listed on the basis of CAT cutoff will be invited for Personal Appearance in the CAP (Common Application Process), which is a common process for all IIMs participating. For the final selection, a merit list is prepared on the basis of the following components, such as CAT score, Performance in Personal Interview (PI), Written Ability Test (WAT) score, and profile score of the applicant.
- International applicants are required to have a cut-off score in GMAT or GRE for admission to 2 year MBA course
- For working professionals, IIM Udaipur offers 2 courses, one year MBA in GSCM and DEM respectively. Admission to these courses is based on applicant’s performance in GMAT or GRE Exams
- For admission to PhD course, IIM Udaipur conducts RAT (Research Aptitude Test) followed by Personal Interview
- Aspirants with a valid score in GATE / GMAT/ GRE/ CAT/ CSIR NET/ UGC NET exam are directly eligible for the personal interview

MBA Admission 2020
IIM Udaipur offers not just its flagship two-year MBA course but also offers 2 one-year MBA courses in Digital Enterprise Management (DEM) and Global Supply Chain Management (GSCM) respectively. Admission processes of these courses are discussed below in details:
Two Year MBA Admission 2020
In IIM Udaipur MBA admission is a 3 stage process just like all other IIMs. Interested aspirants must appear for CAT exam followed by a WAT-PI process (Written Ability Test and Personal Interview) conducted by the institute. Final selection is done on the basis performance in the following:

- PI Performance
- Profile evaluation which includes Educational performance of class 10th, class 12th, graduation and work experience if any

Two year MBA Selection Process 2020
Selection for two-year MBA course at IIM Udaipur is a 3 stage process, which are discussed below in detail:
1st Step: Qualifying CAT exam cutoff
Having a valid CAT exam score is a preliminary eligibility criterion for admission to IIMs. Applicants with a valid score are invited for the further admission rounds.
Step 2: Short-listing for WAT-PI round:
Applicants who have secured minimum required sectional cutoff scores will be invited for the WAT-PI rounds. Minimum sectional cutoff score requirement for admission 2020 are tabulated below:

Based on the above tabulated cutoff scores, applicants will are invited for WAT and PI rounds. However, if the number of shortlisted applicants are more (or less) than the required number of applicants for WAT & PI round category-wise, then the overall, as well as section-wise minimum cutoff, is increased (or reduced) to get the targeted number of applicants.
Step 3: Preparation of Final Merit list
Final merit list is prepared as per the below-mentioned weight-age to the following components:

One Year MBA Admission 2020
IIM Udaipur one year MBA is a fully residential course for working professionals but it is not same as an executive degree course. For this, aspirants must have work experience of a minimum of 3 years as of 29-February-2020.
- Aspirants must have a valid GMAT/ GRE score for applying to course
- Aspirants of MBA-GSCM course, if want to opt for a dual degree with Purdue University are needed to take a language proficiency test such as TOEFL or IELTS

Application Process 2020
IIM Udaipur application process is same as all other IIMs. There is no requirement to fill a separate application form and the process for same is as follow:
- Aspirants are required to visit the official website of CAT and register themselves
- After the announcement of the CAT result in January, IIM Udaipur release the minimum cut off for WAT & PI rounds. Those applicants who meet the cutoff limit will be notified through email if they are shortlisted for the WAT & PI rounds
- For the aspirants seeking admission in one year MBA course, are required to fill the online application form available on the official website of the IIM Udaipur
- The application processing fee for one year MBA courses is Rs 1,000 which can only be paid online through Credit/ Debit Card

Q: What is the eligibility criterion for international aspirants?
A: The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification (minimum 3 years of university education after schooling), with at least 50 percent aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA awarded by a recognized university/ college/ Institute in India or abroad.
