All candidates appearing for IBSAT 2019 should bear in mind that they need to get their scores above the cut off, the minimum marks needed to make it to the shortlist for the next round of the admission process. Those who score marks below the cut off level would not be able to get admission to the MBA/PGPM programs at any of the 9 affiliated IBS business schools.
The cut offs, declared by the participating IBS Business Schools, varies from school to school but is generally around 65-75 as in the case of IBS, Hyderabad.

Those who score above the IBSAT cut off move to the next round in the admission process, namely, the Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Later, after a counseling session, candidates get shortlisted for a spot in the merit list. The final selections is on the basis of the marks you score in the IBSAT entrance test, GD & PI.

IBSAT 2019 results are declared along with your IBSAT 2019 percentile. Three factors determine the setting of IBSAT cut off for a particular year by the 9 ICFAI Business Schools. These are the total number of candidates who sat for IBSAT 2019, the slot-wise and section-wise difficulty level and the total number of seats available.
Note: Besides the overall IBSAT cut-offs 2019, many of the IBSAT accepting colleges also consider IBSAT sectional score cut-offs.

Final Merit List- The final merit list is made, taking into account individual candidate’s performance in IBSAT or CAT / GMAT / NMAT, GDPI and past academic performance.
The merit list is prepared separately by each School, on the basis of the candidate’s performance in IBSAT 2019 exam. IBSAT scorecard will carry the merit position, sectional score and overall marks. In instances where two candidates score equal marks, an inter-se-merit will be prepared.
