ICFAI Business School Aptitude Test Pattern for this year is similar to the past year exam pattern. Nothing has been changed in the structure of the exam or scheme of marking. The question paper for IBSAT Exam this year includes four segments: Data Adequacy & Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability, Quantitative Aptitude and Reading Comprehension.

This section consists of the maximum number of questions i.e. 50 in comparison to other sections. Verbal Ability section consists most of the major topics of English Language –Sentence formation, Grammar, Idioms, Vocabulary usage, Phrases, One-word substitution, Jumbled paragraphs and many others.
The total number of questions in this section is 30 and these questions are based on Reading Comprehension passage. The difficulty of these questions is of normal to moderate level. The questions are in context with the information hidden in the passage. These questions can be attempted very easily.

The purpose of this section is to evaluate the skills of a candidate related to mathematics, mainly Arithmetic. These questions are of moderate difficulty level. To score well in this section, candidates need to solve as many practice sets as possible.
This section consists of questions related to data interpretation (data analysis, data comparison, data trends etc.) as well as data sufficiency.
