IBSAT Examination Results
ICFAI Business School is expected to announce IBSAT 2019 result on its official website in the last week of December. You will be able to access and download the result-cum-scorecard by keying in your registration id and password at the result log in window.
The result-cum-scorecard will provide your overall marks and sectional scores.
However, there is some way to go before the announcement of the final result. For instance, the final result of IBSAT 2019 is only expected in March 2020 following the conclusion of the selection process of candidates on the basis of their performance in Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).

A Step-by-Step Guide to Check & Download IBSAT 2019 Result-cum-Scorecard
You will be able to check and download IBSAT 2019 result-cum-scorecard through these steps:
- Go to the official website
- Press the ‘IBSAT results’ button in the notification bar
- The IBSAT result window will open as a new window
- Key in your IBSAT 2019 application number and password
- Press the ‘Submit’ button and wait for the result details to appear on the page
- Press the Download button and take a printout of IBSAT Result-cum-Scorecard

IBSAT 2019 Result-cum-Scorecard will have:
- Your name
- Roll number
- Registration/Application Number

What Happens After Declaration of IBSAT Results?
ICFAI, which conducts the test, will release the list of names of candidates selected to appear in Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds. These candidates are also required to attend the IBSAT Selection Briefing before appearing for GD and PI.

IBSAT gives due weightage not only to the academic qualifications of the candidates, but also their performance in the Group Discussion and Interview. While Graduation, Group Discussion and Interview get a weightage of 25% each, Class XII gets 15% and Class X 10%. The final selection is based on these aspects. See below:
IBSAT Selection Briefings
IBSAT Selection Briefings are held over a period of 9 days at 40 places all over India. The briefings are aimed at familiarizing the candidates with the program details and the IBS selection process.

All candidates who score above the minimum cut offs are shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process, Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). The sole venue for this exercise is at IBS Hyderabad for all the other IBS schools at Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Gurgaon, Dehradun, Jaipur, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune.
Group Discussion
The Group Discussion involves groups of 8-10 candidates. Each group will be assigned a topic or case study to debate for 15-20 minutes. This exercise is to evaluate the leadership and negotiation skills of the participants. Experts suggest that candidates should keep themselves updated in current affairs by reading newspapers and business magazines.
Personal Interview
Once you clear the GD round, you will face the Personal Interview. During the interview you will be evaluated on your confidence level, aptitude and communications skills, among others.
IBSAT Cut off 2019
Following the declaration of the results, the IBSAT cut offs for all the 9 IBS schools are announced. It is on the basis of IBSAT cut off level, candidates are called for the Counselling round. Read more about IBSAT Exam cut-off.
