IELTS Band Score: Everything you want to know about it
After appearing for the IELTS examination, the results will be announced within two weeks from the date of the exam. To check your scores, you have to visit the IDP or British Council’s official website. You will receive your IELTS scores for all the four sections in a band score that ranges from 1-9. How to get your score?
To get your scores, you need to enter your candidate number, passport number, test date, identification document number and your date of birth. Remember to keep these documents handy before you check your scores. Also, as the scores are visible online only for 28 days, don’t forget to note it down. This is just a preview of the result before the Official Test Report form is given. The test report consists of the scores of all the 4 sections. Be sure to keep this report safe as only one copy is provided. The higher your IELTS score the greater your chances of getting into your dream university.

Minimum Score for IELTS
The minimum score needed depends entirely on the country, university, or the organization you are looking at. As such, there is no concept of minimum IELTS score. However, each university/college/organization you are targeting may have their own set of minimum requirements for the IELTS score. The IELTS score can play a decisive role in your admission process.
