How To Book The IELTS Test Slot?

Students aspiring to study in an English-speaking country must have already started their preparations for IELTS Exam 2020. Registrations should be done on the official webpage of IELTS. Choosing the appropriate dates plays an important role in the admission process. Remember to book a date that will also leave you with sufficient time to prepare for the IELTS Exam.

Some colleges/universities have rolling deadlines therefore candidates can submit their IELTS 2020 scores as per their convenience. Others have a fixed deadline date for submitting applications with the IELTS Scores. Therefore, book your slot after deciding the correct date and according to your convenience.
IELTS Registration
IELTS exam aspirants have to register themselves first. The following are the steps involved in booking a slot to take the examination:
- Step 1: Go to the official IELTS website
- Step 2: Select the IELTS test center that is closest to your location
- Step 3: Register your details on the IELTS website and pay the online registration fee of Rs 12,650. You can also download the registration form and submit it to the local test center
- Step 4: You will receive a confirmation of the test date and time from the test center
- Step 5: Also note that the speaking test will be conducted on a separate date within 7 days before or after the IELTS test

Key points to remember while booking the Slot for the IELTS exam:
- The candidate must be above the age of 16
- The candidate must bring a valid passport to the Test Centre
- Information given in the registration form should match with that on the passport
Cancellation or Refund IELTS Fee
Candidates can also cancel or postpone the IELTS Exam 2019 by paying the applicable fee. They will receive a refund after an administration fee of 25% is deducted (roughly INR 3,364) from the test fee.
