IELTS Exam Prep Tips

Reading: This section consists of three passages in the order of increasing difficulty levels. There are a total of 40 questions and this section includes a variety of questions that tests the reading skills of the candidate.
Writing: This section has two tasks.

In Task 1, the candidates are required to write an essay in response to a point of view, argument or problem.

In Task 2, the candidates are required to interpret a diagram in their own words.

Listening: In this section, candidates have to listen to four recorded texts, monologues, and conversations by a range of native speakers, and answer a series of questions based on the recordings.
Speaking: In this section, the speaking ability is assessed on the basis of one-to-one interaction between the candidate and the examiner.
