SAT 2020 Examination Dates
The SAT examination is a much sought after exam for admission into undergraduate courses, mainly in countries like Australia, Canada, USA, and the UK. This exam assesses the written, verbal and mathematical skills of the student. Apart from the general SAT Exam dates 2020 , the SAT Subject Test examines the understanding of a particular subject. How to Register for SAT Exam?
To register for SAT exam there are two methods – online and via mail. In the online process, students have to first register themselves by creating a profile on the College Board’s official website. After this, they can pick a suitable test date, test centre and pay the application fees. To register via mail, a copy of the ‘The Student Registration Guide for the SAT and SAT Subject Tests’ which is available in schools is needed. The student can fill the registration form given in the guide and send it along with a demand draft to the regional office of USIEF (United States India Educational Foundation). Late registrations are also allowed but a late fee is applicable.
To register for the SAT in India, there are two ways:
Register Online
- Create a student profile here
- Pick a suitable test date and test center (Sunday testing or option to choose a test center closer to home is not offered)
- You will get a registration confirmation
- Pay the required exam fee using credit/debit card or online transfer.
- Registration close about three to four weeks before a test date.
- Late registration deadlines are allowed until two to three weeks before the test date with the payment of a late fee
Register by Mail
- Ask for the ‘The Student Registration Guide for the SAT and SAT Subject Tests’, which is available at most schools.
- Fill in the registration form and return envelope found in the guide.
- Send the form with a demand draft.
- The USIEF is the local representative of the SAT in India. The mailed forms will be sent to their regional office.

SAT Test Center
Established by the College Board, the SAT is held at over 53 institutes spread across 30 cities in India. Though there are so many institutes, these centres hold the exam only once a month.
