EMBA at MIMS is a distinctive credit based program, which is hugely flexible and empowers the students to complete the course in fast track mode with-in 15-24 months. For completion of program, a maximum 4 years will be granted. On successful completion, the candidates will be awarded Master of Business Administration (Executive).

The program offers specialization in the field of Finance, Human Resource, Information System, Marketing & Operations and provides the opportunity to choose either dual specialization or concentration in the fields mentioned above or in General Management.

Course structure 

Pedagogy

The learning method of EMBA program will include the faculty lectures, case study, group work, business games, quizzes, role-plays, simulations and films to assure interactive learning sessions in each class. A lot of pre-reading of course on the part of candidates is required to ensure that every session is a value exercise.

For 4 days, the candidates will be given 3 hours of classroom interaction and on Sunday, 5 hours of classroom interaction. A dissertation is a compulsory feature of this program and is equivalent to 4 credits. There is a special arrangement for ‘Group Exercise’ in each course module in order to ensure that there is enough peer learning. Students will be divided into smaller groups and will be asked to submit the assignments, projects presentations, which they have to complete as a team. 

Eligibility Criteria

  • A minimum bachelor’s degree in any discipline from any government recognized university
  • A minimum of 5 years of professional work experience in managerial/ supervisory role after completing the graduation
