If you intend to apply for the one-year full-time MBA program at Melbourne Business School, the next application deadline, Round 3, is March 31 that also happens to be the closing date for international candidates.
The school says the program attracts students from across the world. Apart from offering all the core subjects of a traditional MBA, it has a range of advanced extras and overseas travel to Asia. The program helps participants to broaden their horizons, create an international network and develop the capabilities to meet any challenge.

With the program set to get underway in August, Round 3 applicants will get their interview invitation by April 16 and final notification by May 5. This round will be the last one for International applicants.
Round 4 is only for domestic applicants. The deadline is April 30 with an interview decision by May 15 and a final decision by June 5.
Along with the application, you should submit GMAT scores of the test taken within 5 years. The average score of the students at MBS is 705 or higher. The school accepts only GMAT scores and not the GRE.
An up-to-date resume showing a minimum of two years’ work experience is needed. You should submit a copy of your undergraduate academic transcript and any postgraduate transcripts, if relevant.
A passport or verified document showing current citizenship/residency status is needed. Non-native speakers of English should file a copy of your IELTS or TOEFL score. For IELTS, you will need a minimum score of 7.0 overall, with no individual score less than 6.5. For TOEFL iBT, you will need a minimum score of 102, with a written score minimum of 24 and no individual score lower than 21.
You should submit personal statements relating to your goals and how you can contribute to the program. You should provide the names and contact details of two professional referees.
The shortlisted candidates will be invited to attend a compulsory interview, which can be conducted in person, over the phone or by teleconference. The interview duration is approximately 20 to 30 minutes.
A selection committee will make the final decision on each applicant to achieve a cohort that reflects gender balance and a diverse representation of industries, academic backgrounds and nationalities. Restrictions are also placed on the number of students from any one country or region.
Successful applicants will be notified via email. The offer may include the award of a scholarship.
The 2020 program fee for the Full-time MBA is $89,500. It covers all program costs, including flights and accommodation for the Business in Asia field trip. It can be paid in installments.
On receiving the admission order, a non-refundable deposit of $8,900 is needed to hold your place. This deposit is offset against your first fee installment on acceptance of the offer. FEE-HELP is available for eligible Australian citizens and permanent residents.
International students should budget approximately $560 for visas. You must have medical insurance for the duration of your stay in Australia. The cost is approximately $729 per year (based on 2018 prices; more for a couple or family) and is paid with your first installment of the fee.
A wide range of scholarships is available for eligible candidates. All applicants are automatically considered for scholarships but to be eligible for some, you should apply by a certain date.
