According to the B-School, the student should have a recognized bachelor’s degree with honors (not lower than second class lower division or B grade) or equivalent professional qualification;
Three years of full-time post-qualification work experience is expected (applicants possess outstanding academic performance and career progression but with less work experience could be considered.)

As per the B-School, CUHK MBA Application for intake 2020 opens now. Applications should be submitted online through CUHK MBA / Master’s Online Application Portal.
Register an account and start to prepare for information required on the application system, which include the following:

In case you have not yet assembled all the supporting documents before the deadline of a given round, you are advised to submit the applications first and supplement relevant documents within 1 month upon submission.
The application fee is HKD1,200 for applying Full-time mode, HKD 800 for Part-time mode. Please note that the application fee is nonrefundable and can be paid by:
Credit card as directed via online application system;
Hong Kong Check or Bank draft payable to “Chinese University of Hong Kong”. The original pay-in slip or bank draft should be mailed to the CUHK MBA Admissions Office.
Supporting documents required include:
*Applicants who obtained degrees from universities in Mainland China are required to provide an Online Verification Report of Higher Education Qualification Certificate issued by the CHESICC.
**Official transcripts must reach MBA Admissions Office directly from the institution(s).
Upon your submission of application, the Admissions Committee will conduct a thorough review of your application. Shortlisted candidates will be invited for a face-to-face or video admission interview. Instructions are provided at the time of invitation. The admission interview carries heavy weight in the admission process and no applicant is admitted without one.
The B-School takes a holistic approach to evaluate each applicant based on information provided in the application, recommendations and interview performance. Admissions decisions are notified to the applicant via email and are updated on the application system as well.
Tuition fee of Full-time MBA Program for 2019-2020 academic year is HK$560,000. Upon receiving notice of admission, students are required to pay a non-refundable deposit of HK$80,000 to confirm offer acceptance.
Students are expected to pay the program fee in three installments in their first year of study. The deposit paid will be offset against the outstanding program fee. Sundry items and learning materials such as textbooks and cases are paid for separately.

Student Activities Fee
Full-time students of the MBA Programs are required to pay a non-refundable student activities fee of HK$5,500. The fee will be used towards organizing activities during the study period and be collected upon arrival in early August.

The types and frequency of the activities organized are subject to the recommendations of the Student Associations, Students Clubs and the final approval by the MBA Office.
Caution Money
Students of the MBA Programs are required to pay HK$450 caution money as a deposit against any debts incurred to the University. This sum, less any deductions made for outstanding debts, is refunded upon discontinuation of studies at the University. For graduating students, subject to no claim being outstanding, the caution money is converted into a graduation fee, which is payable by all students on completion of their study programs.
Scholarship
CUHK MBA offers a wide range of merit-based scholarship to incoming students.
The B-School encourages high-caliber candidates fulfilling its requirements to apply early for scholarships. All entrance scholarships are awarded according to the candidate’s ability to add value to a dynamic classroom, work experience, academic and professional merits, and business leadership potential. Applications are assessed based on the information submitted online. Additional statement may be required where applicable.

Scholarship Eligibility Criteria and General Notes
As per the B-School, all listed scholarships and awards are open to candidates applying for CUHK MBA’s full-time intake for 2019. To be eligible, applicants must complete and submit their applications by the designated deadline(s). In order to benefit from a scholarship, awardees must commence their full-time MBA studies at CUHK during academic year 2019-20. Applicants’ eligibility and the amount of scholarships and any additional scholarships they may receive will be assessed and determined by CUHK MBA Admissions Committee. Under any circumstance, the maximum amount of scholarships for each candidate is HKD 500,000. The final decision will be based on each candidate’s prior academic performance, work experience, GMAT scores and interview performances. Any scholarship awarded will subsequently be deducted from the successful applicant’s program tuition fees. CUHK’s MBA program reserves the right to amend the terms and conditions applied to these scholarships at any time and without prior notice. All amended terms and conditions will be timely published on our website. All decisions related to admission and scholarships will be subject to the approval and confirmation of the CUHK MBA Programs Office and will be final.
