Final Placement for the one year full-time PGPX (SCM) Batch of 2018-2019 at IIM Udaipur saw the students being offered an average salary package of Rs 14.45 Lakh per Annum (LPA) and the highest salary at Rs 20.45 lakh LPA.
The PGPX at IIMU is a dual degree program in partnership with the Krannert School of Management at Purdue University in the United States, one of the world leaders in the Supply Chain Management domain.
Although referred to as a one year MBA, the program spreads over 15 months. Unlike other programs which include a short international component, PGPX offers a full semester of five months at Purdue University.
The largest number offers were in supply chain management and operations. The students were also offered positions in supply chain analytics, material management and logistics.
It is also among the few to offer summer internship placement, usually associated with the longer 2-year programs.
Major recruiters at the placement included Cognizant, Color Token, Future Supply Chain, Hinduja Hospital, Johnson & Johnson, Jubilant Foodworks, Mahindra Spares, Michelin, Robotic Wares, Udaan & Waree. Flipkart was also among the recruiters seeking to fill up supply chain management roles.

IIMU, set up in 2011, operates from a 300-acre campus in the Balicha area of Udaipur with state of the art classrooms and other facilities. It offers the two-year PGP program which grants an MBA degree; the 15-month PGPX program which offers dual degrees in global supply chain management in partnership with Purdue University and the Fellow Program in Management which offers a PhD in four areas.
