Rs 18.49 Lakh Average, Rs 27 Lakh Highest Salary: IIM C Class of 2014 MBA Placements
0IIM C has released the placement numbers for the 7th Class of its MBA course, the One Year Full Time PGPEX. The salary numbers are healthy this year, however a shade below those bagged by PGPEX’s 6th batch (Class of 2013).
Highlights
- Average salary for PGPEX students this year is Rs 18.49 lakh. Average salary for the Class of 2013 stood at Rs 19.73 lakh.
- Highest international salary this year is $58,000 – which is a huge drop from the US$ 1,10,000 and AUE 2,04,000 salaries gained by PGPEX students in 2013. That said, this number has scope for wide fluctuations as the number is based on a very small base. From the batch of 50 students, one student this year has got an international offer. Given that PGPEX students have work experience ranging between 5 to 15 years, the highest international salary number can fluctuate wildly depending upon the work experience of the student who got placed abroad.
- In a very healthy development, recruitments seem to have been more broad-based this year. While IT and IT Consulting companies recruited 35% of students in 2013, this year the number of recruitments from Consulting and IT is 17%.
