The average salary for the Class of 2019 International MBA cohort at RSM Erasmus stood at $ 76,594, according to the Employment Report released by the school.
The full-time MBA program is of one-year duration. While 59% of the students accepted a job offer by graduation, 29% accepted a job offer by and within three months of graduation and 88% found a job within three months after graduation.
In terms of job locations, 88% chose Europe (including the Netherlands), 82% the Netherlands, 5% Asia, 4% North America and 1% the Middle East.

Of the 135 students in the class, 76% changed location, 73% changed the industry, 68% changed function, 43% changed all three and 35% changed at least two out of these three elements.
Though Marketing & Sales topped average salaries at $82,359, the maximum salary offer at $156,000 was from Finance & Accounting.
Consulting offered $67,921 average salary and $96,384 maximum salary. The average salary in Finance & Accounting was $78,001. General Management notched up an average salary of $79,596 with the maximum at $98,496, in Marketing & Sales average pay was $82,359 and maximum $143,640, in Operations & Logistics the average pay was $78,008 and maximum $98,496, in Others, average salary was $74,379 and maximum $106,020.
Finance & Accounting topped the sectors chosen by the Class of 2019 International MBA cohort at RSM Erasmus with Consulting in the second spot and Marketing & Sales third.
Finance & Accounting took in 23% of the cohort followed by Consulting 21% and Marketing & Sales 22%. Operations & Logistics comes next at 17% with General Management and Others at 6% each. Information Technology at 4% and Human Resources at 1% complete the picture.
Major recruiters for international MBA graduates at RSM range from Amazon, Infosys and KPMG to Dutch multinationals including Philips, Unilever and FrieslandCampina. The school says it provides various opportunities to connect with graduates through company presentations, recruitment events and networking opportunities.
“In addition to assisting students in their post-MBA job search, we also partner with companies by identifying the talent required to fill key roles within the organization. Our approach utilizes many tactics including CV books, industry panels, interviews and job posting boards,” RSM Erasmus says in the Employment Report.
The main recruiters in 2019 included AM Best, Aaeon, ABN AMRO, Accenture, AkzoNobel, Align Technology, Allego, Applied Medical Europe B.V., ASML, Booking.com, Bridgestone Europe NV/SA, c*funds, Capgemini, CIBC, CitizenM, COFRA, Credit Suisse, De Nederlandsche Bank, Deloitte, Deployment Matters, DSM, Europoort, EY, Fluke, FMO, FrieslandCampina, GrandVision, Heineken, Henkel, Hilti, Hoppinger, HSBC, Infosys Ltd., ING Group, InnoEnergy, International Flavors and Fragrances.

Of the total 135 students, international candidates comprised 97%. The gender ratio was 64% male and 36% female. The average age of the cohort was 30 years. They had an average work experience of 6 years. Their average GMAT score was 640.
Nationalities represented
Other nationalities represented are Mexico (3), Canada, Colombia, Singapore, Portugal, Spain and the United Kingdom (2 each), Argentina, Belgium, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, France, Georgia, Ghana, Italy, Kyrgyzstan, Philippines, Slovenia, Sri Lanka, Syria, Thailand, Venezuela and Zimbabwe (1 each).
Unlike many of the MBA classes having a preponderance of Engineers, RSM MBA class had 37% students with Business & Economics educational background, followed by Engineering 33%, Humanities and art 15%, Others 3% and Law 2%.
