If you are a woman planning to enrol in an MBA program in Asia but lack funding, no need to worry as no less than 11 business schools have scholarships exclusively meant for you.
The scholarships are part of the efforts by business schools to address the gender imbalance in MBA programs. According to the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC), women accounted for only 37% of all applicants globally in 2016.
INSEAD Christina Law MBA ’91 Endowed Scholarship for Asian Women valued at 8,000-12,000 euros will be available to one student. The total fee at INSEAD is 82,000 euros ($101,000).
In Asia, women constitute just 34% of MBA students in the top 10 business schools compared to 42% in the US and 36% in Europe.

The AGSM Director’s Women in Leadership Scholarship at the University of New South Wales provides full tuition of A$84,000 ($68,000) to two students.

The South East Asia Women in Management and Finance Scholarship at Macquarie Graduate School of Management of an approximate value of A$24,000 is available for an undisclosed number of students. The fee at Macquarie is A$80,000 ($64,000).
The Helen MacPherson Smith Fellowship is available at Melbourne Business School value of A$25,000 for approximately two students. The fees at MBS is A$85,000 ($68,000).
The NUS MBA Women-in-Business Scholarship at NUS Business School valued at S$22000 is available for an undisclosed number of students. NUS tuition is S$62,000 ($47,000).
UN Women NC Australia MBS Scholarship at University of Sydney Business School valued at A$60,000 is available for two students. The tuition fee is A$75,000 ($60,000).
The Women in Global Business Scholarship at CUHK Business School is available up to HK$275,000 for one student. CUHK fee is HK$550,000 ($70,000).
Women in MBA (WiMBA) Scholarship at various business schools in Australia up to A$65,000 for an undisclosed number of students. The tuition fee is A$66,000 ($53,000).
The Women Leadership Scholarship at CEIBS valued at RMB 200,000 for approximately two students. The fee at CEIBS is RMB 408,000 ($65,000)
