Admission Open for PGP in IT Business Management at SCIT

Admission is open for the one-year full-time Post Graduate Program in IT Business Management (PGPITBM) at Symbiosis Centre for Information Technology (SCIT) with the last date for submitting the application on March 30, 2018.

The interviews will be scheduled on April 7 and the results emailed to the selected candidates by April 16.

You should be a graduate of a UGC approved University with a minimum of 50% marks. You should have a minimum 18 months full-time work experience in IT or allied domains, as on May 31, 2018.

The program, with an intake of 30 students, aims to develop Business Management professionals for the IT and related industry addressing the niche areas of IT businesses and applied technologies.

Eligibility Criteria

You should be a graduate of a UGC approved University with a minimum of 50% marks. You should have a minimum 18 months full-time work experience in IT or allied domains, as on May 31, 2018.

International applicant should be graduates with English language competency. Those with a professional background in business and IT areas will be preferred.

The program has full-time faculty members and industry experts guiding the students. There are also opportunities for value-added certification like ITIL, an acronym for Information Technology Infrastructure Library, a set of detailed practices for IT service management (ITSM) that focuses on aligning IT services with the needs of business and  Six Sigma quality control program.

The program has an active Placement cell at SCIT comprising of students headed by placement officer assisting all full-time students in their placements.

With the focus on IT Security and Systems, the program has a fast-track approach to equip the students with skills related to IT Security and Business Management.

Admission Procedure

Candidates will have to fill up an online form and pay an application fee of Rs 750. A printout of the completed application is to be taken and the hard copy submitted to the SCIT office along with the required documents and two photographs.

The documents are two copies each of 10th & 12th standard mark sheets along with two copies of Degree certificate & Graduation mark sheets along with a Certificate for work experience. All documents should be self-attested.

The short-listed applicants based on their profile will be called for the selection process at SCIT, Pune. Short-listed candidates will be sent an email as per the scheduled dates. Individual regret letters will not be sent to applicants who are not called for Personal Interviews. The entire process will be held in Pune only.

In all correspondence with SCIT, candidates must mention their Application Number, name, email id, contact telephone number (with STD code) if applicable and address with PIN Code. No changes in online form will be accepted upon submission of the form.(Image Source:google.com)
