Nanyang Business School has formed a new alumni advisory board comprising 18 distinguished alumni who are top leaders in Singapore’s public and private sectors.
Chaired by PwC Singapore advisory leader Ong Chao Choon, the board comprises senior corporate executives from a wide range of industries as well as top government officials.
As per Nanyang, representing a rich collection of diverse insights and experience, the board will help Nanyang Business School strengthen links with alumni, connecting them to students, staff and faculty. It will help build the Nanyang Business School brand, expanding the school’s corporate network as well as provide guidance on developing world-class programmes and research that address real-world issues.
Dean Ravi Kumar said: “The impressive assembly of our inaugural Alumni Advisory Board speaks volumes of our rich heritage in nurturing top flight leaders who can hold pinnacle positions of responsibility anywhere and everywhere.
“We are most gratified by their love and commitment to their alma mater and fellow alumni and look forward to connecting and engaging with them. Undoubtedly, the school will benefit much from their rich insights, experience and networks.”
The board had its first meeting on 10 February 2015.
Members are appointed for a two-year term, which may be renewed for a second term.
